After finishing Snow Country in a matter of days, I thought that the book cover could be greatly improved.
The imagery the book illustrates is gorgeous and simplistic, which is something I wanted to capture in the redesign. I also wanted to express the book’s themes of loneliness, and sensuality that are based around the main character’s profession as a geisha.
